The Ponus Yacht Club, founded in 1911, has been a staple on the western branch of the Stamford harbor for 98 years. The club has matured over the years but the basic premise is the same. The Ponus is a place for hard working middle class men, women and their families come to socialize and share their enthusiasm for boating, fishing, and the current events of the day. Though a private club with over 400 members from the tri-state area, the club is open to the public the majority of the year.  We invite you to come down and have a look around or just join us at the bar for a drink.


The club boasts a waterfront deck for lunch or an afternoon cocktail. We serve lunch seven days of the week, a pub menu on Thursday evenings, and dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings. We also offer a range of catering options in our banquet hall. Feel like traveling by boat, we have dock and dine slips available to accommodate yachts as large as 100 feet.
